I’m Jenn and this is my happy place. What does this mean? Well, when I first got a tumblr over a year ago it was largely a happy place where people had hope for their ships and believed in the shows they were watching. As time went on this changed. Today alone I saw five people get attacked for what they ship. That’s wrong and it’s upsetting. People shouldn’t be hated on for shipping something different. Then there are people that become jerks about their ships and that’s not cool either. Basically, tumblr got really negative really fast. Sometimes I don’t want to deal with all the negativity, which is why this blog was created. This is a place for me to come to when I just want to enjoy something. The blogs followed here are the ones that always make me smile and the the stuff posted here is guaranteed to a put a smile on my face. In short, it’s where I go to be happy.

    Rachel was more nervous than she had ever been in her entire life, after taking four at home tests and a trip to the doctor, her life had been changed. She was pregnant and she needed to tell Sam. “It has come to my attention that I’m currently with child. Your child to be precise, I would never do anything as heinous as what Quinn did to Finn.” She sees the look on his face and thinks that she’s ruined everything until he mutters a soft, “Okay.”

    Rachel is three months pregnant and the doubts start to creep in. They’re still in high school, they can’t take care of a baby. Sam asks her what’s wrong and she hesitates before answering. She doesn’t want to burden him anymore than she already has. He’s come to every doctor’s appointment, given her everything she craved, and defended her when their classmates were horrible to her. He had always valued honesty though, so she told him the truth. “What if we can’t do this? We’re too young, it’ll never work.” He smiles softly and she thinks that maybe they’ll be okay.

    She’s seven months along when she kicks him out of the house. She can’t even remember what she kicked him out for but she will be damned before she lets him back in without an apology. The only catch is that Sam doesn’t know what he’s supposed to apologize for and neither does she. When she’s fed up beyond belief she yells at him. “This is all your fault. You have destroyed my life and any chance I have at my dream career.” She immediately regrets the words. He looks like she slapped him and they’re both on the verge of tears. He leaves and she doesn’t see him for three days. She cries herself to sleep every night.

    On the fourth day, her dads are smiling and she doesn’t know why. They tell her to wait and everything will be okay. She thinks they’re lying to protect her sanity. When she gets to glee though, she sees why they were happy. Sam serenades her with a Beatles classic and apologizes and she just has to forgive him. She sees him in the hallways later and she feels the need to clear the air. She asks if everything was really okay because she thought he hated her. He laughs and kisses her nose before telling her that isn’t possible. For the first time since she found out she was pregnant, she knows everything will be okay.

    • So, this was my headcanon before I saw the bts clip and I still stand by it because it would have been beautiful. Artie sings Let Me Love You and while it’s supposedly for Sugar his eyes linger on Mercedes for most of the performance. She confronts him after the performance and he tells her that he’s loved her for over a year but he’s finally going to move on. He’s happy that she’s found someone that genuinely loves her, meaning Shane, and if they’re happy together then he’s happy for her. Mercedes is shocked, but looking back she sees all the little signs of what could have been between them. After some serious thought she prepares a performance. During the next glee club meeting she shows up dressed to the nines and says she has finally figured out who she wants. Everyone looks to Sam thinking this is the moment when the two are going to get back together, Instead she wheels Artie forward and sings I Will Always Love You to him. After the performance she tells him that she broke up with Shane and she wants to give them a shot if he’ll have her. He tells her he’d love that, or in his words “Hell yes, woman,” and they get together.
